History of Complete Taxi Management

CTM first started trading 20 Years ago with 4 cars .The fleet today has grown to over 65 cars making us one of the largest in Queensland. In 1995 we expanded our operation and opened our workshop and panel divisions to exclusively service our own fleet.

The directors of the company have over 90 years combined experience and sit on various industry bodies and government advisory committees. All of the directors have driven cabs over many years so they understand the issues that can appear when driving. To sum it up at CTM the drivers are our business and are highly valued. We operate one of the very few 24 hr bases which is situated close to all modes of public transport so getting to drive is easy. We also have a fleet of substitute taxis which keep you on the road in the event of a major breakdown or accident. Here you get the whole package and are able to contribute to a great place to work.

We also arrange coverage for a fee for work related injuries and accidents.
Complete Taxi operates a fleet of both Yellow and Black and White Cabs.

Complete Taxis Go Green
We are proud to announce we have taken steps to reduce our Co2 emissions by making real decisions that count. Unlike many other operators We have decided that our replacement car program will be Low Emission Volkswagen diesel vehicles. Unlike many other vehicles these vehicles do not use batteries which produce more greenhouse gas during manufacture than they can possibly save over their service life. As usual we look at the whole package and not just the window dressing.

Making this decision has been easy and when the entire fleet has been replaced with the diesel Volkswagens we will be emitting a massive 880 tonnes less of carbon per annum. We have worked very close with our vehicle supplier Northstar Volkswagen at Kippa-Ring developing a total package to operate these cars including servicing and parts.

The first 15 cars have been commissioned and the drivers love them. The new cars suit the ever changing traffic conditions and are very responsive. We also have another 10 on the way.

We are investigating other steps like Bio Fuels and Green Electricity and the directors philosophy is a belief that every step to reduce our carbon footprint is a step in the right direction. We have made these decisions without any assistance from the government.
